Bamford Earthmoving is a locally owned and operated business servicing the wider Otago and Southland districts. With over 50 years experience we can tackle any job small or large including site clearing, gravel extraction, tree removals, farm drainage, cutting farm tracks and specialise in irrigation ponds, subdivisions, contract stripping and mining.

Being a small family owned and operated Earthmoving company we pride ourselves with providing a personal & professional service. When you call us you get the owner & operator.

Our fleet of gear includes bulldozers ranging from a 8 tonne D4 up to a 78 tonne D10N. Our large bulldozers are fully compliant to mine regulations/specifications. Our fleet of diggers ranges from 5 tonne up to 45 tonne.

Our trucks include tip truck/trailers, 6x4 water cart, tractor units with low loader, tipulator and bottom dumper.
We have twin powered open bowl motorscrapers with bails and hook for push pull operations.
Articulated dump trucks are also available ranging from 30-40 tonne pay load.

Our gear is available for dry hire or full hire for experienced operators.
